Japan Bloom Fair in Hong Kong

I paid a visit to Japan Bloom Fair in HK last week.

This was my first time been there. They shown us some unique spieces of flower, eg. Rose, Lily, Carnation etc...those are not we usually see in the market.

2011.10.09 Esther & Roger's Wedding in HK

One of the mission in the last HK trip, is join my cousin's wedding :)

That was my honor to help out a bit in the wedding, and had a chance to do the bridal bouquet for her. 

As my cousin requested, I tried to do a heart-shaped bridal bouquet with Rose and Hyacinthus.

Decorated with pearl beads, looks more plentiful and elegant~

The main flower of the bridal bouquet & all corsages - Bi-color Rose, appreciate the gradation of the petals.

Strings of hyacinthus and the little pink flowers look vivid !

Matching corsage for the groom~ A bi-color rose matched with hyacinthus and small leaves, simple style.

DV Garden Rose - Rosalind

See our new image photo above? One of the nice blossom there is Garden Rose.

That I mentioned before, it is very nice. Such as Rose, there are different kinds of Garden Rose. The one I use and I'm going introduce is David Austin Rose - Rosalind.

Rosalind, the small blush-pink buds open slowly into beautiful, peony-like blooms.

It is one of the second generation of David Austin's Cut Flowers and is remarkable for the gorgeous fruity fragrance. 

The blooms are very full, packed with around 160 petals, neatly arranged around a large button eye, very like old garden roses. Rosalind's soft pink tones works well in most colour themes.

A Garden Rose bridal bouquet match with rose, spray rose, matthiola, fragrant wax flower etc...

Very natural and delicate appearance.

2011.10.19 Bridal Bouquet for Yumi's Pre-wedding photo shooting (HK)

I back to HK visited my family and friends last 2 weeks, but I didn't really take rest, still had work on my lovely floral jobs~ Please have a look below, this is one of the job in HK :)

Pretty bride - Yumi wanted a simple bridal bouquet for her pre-wedding photo shooting. Her request were round-shaped and pink color theme.

Searched at HK flower market, many fresh flowers were there.

(Really wanted to bring all flowers back home ^^)

I chose the very nice pink roses, size quite big and color like gradient pink. Feel soft but won't be cover by other flowers easily.

And then match with purple-pink color spray rose, light pink hydrangea and few other same tone flowers.

Besides, I put fragrant wax flower in stead of foliages to decorate the side of bouquets normally.

HK trip

didn't hear from me for a week? Yea, I'm in HK now, visit my family, my friends :)

But I'm not lazy...^^

Just helped to prepare a bridal bouquet and some corsage & wristlet for my cousin's wedding last weekend.

And 2 more jobs are coming in next week.

Dinner at Oriental Mandarin hotel today.

This is my first time go inside this hotel at SG, I like the feeling...very peaceful and elegant,

also like the poolside restaurant :)
